One thing a former professor told me: The thesis is important, but it isn't the most important thing you'll do, so don't act as if it is. If your thesis is the best thing you write you had a short career!
Ha! Thanks, Brian. At this point, I've decided to wait a while to pursue my PhD, so the thesis will be the most important (if not the best) thing I've written, at least up until now. I'm actually thinking of going on to get a ThM before taking a break from studies for a while. In the meantime, though, the clock is ticking down, and I don't even have an inkling of what I want to write about. I'm really looking forward to just having a topic I can sink my teeth into. The writing isn't the hard part for me—coming up with the idea is.
