I am a writer, amateur potter, Mennonite, and a lifelong pilgrim, and I am nearly finished with my MA in Theological Studies with an emphasis on New Testament Biblical Studies at Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Shawnee, KS (I'm so close I can taste it!). I am primarily interested in socio-scientific, literary, rhetorical, and historical criticism of the New Testament; the Synoptic Gospels; Historical Jesus studies; poetic composition and theory; printmaking and publishing; and teaching/preaching.

I am a passionate supporter of intentional Christian communities and radical hospitality, and have a particularly soft spot in my heart for New Monasticism and neomonastic communities. I have spent most of my time since 2006 living in and among groups of friends who share a common life, and look forward to maybe putting down roots in an established community some day.
I am also a member of the MennoNerds blogging network and a contributor to the biblioblog Near Emmaus.
